Introduction
Vivian began her academic career as a postdoc research fellow under the supervision of Prof. Kwok Leung at the City University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on culture and cross-cultural comparison, from which she also branches out to investigate a wide range of topics, including higher-order thinking, religion, and well-being. As a cross-cultural researcher, she has developed skills in translation and quantitative analysis. Through her work with collaborators and students, she is currently studying parenting and socioemotional development, with which she gains a deep appreciation of the importance of education and cultural socialization. Aspired to be a lifelong learner, she is interested in learning different languages, as she believes this is the key to better communication and collaboration.
