This is a call for nominations for candidates for the AASP President and General Secretary. The former will begin his/her term as the President-Elect from 2021, as the President from 2023, and as the Past President from 2025. The latter will begin his/her term as the General Secretary from 2021.
Candidates must be current AASP members and must be present at the 14th biennial Asian Association of Social Psychology virtual conference in Seoul, July 29-31, 2021, where there will be an election at the Annual General Meeting. Nominations cannot be self-made, but instead, must be signed by two members of AASP and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate. Members who nominate a candidate must send (1) names of nominees, (2) a letter of recommendation detailing why the person is suitable for the position, and (3) a CV of the candidate to General Secretary, Fang Wang (psywangfang@163.com), by May 15, 2021.
The AASP Executive Committee will review the nominations. The formal candidate(s) for election will be announced by June 15, 2021.
